Probably my #1 training tool! It is so useful in so many situations and is cheap and easy. I like this one particularly because it's durable and has a leather stopper to hold it in place.
This slip lead is smaller in diameter so better for small dogs.
I love this leather leash because it's very easy on your hands and doesn't burn if your dog pulls the leash through your hand. It's also very durable and soft and lasts a long time.
I like the Herm Sprenger prong collars because the ends of the prongs are rounded, unlike some that are cut rough. This one is for smaller dogs, 30 lbs & under. More links can be purchased if needed.
This long lead is nice because it is durable and has a swiveling clip that helps it to not get as tangled. I would get 15 ft or less or it's easier to handle.
I like the Herm Sprenger prong collars because the ends of the prongs are rounded, unlike some that are cut rough. This one is for larger dogs and links can be taken out.
Prong collars can be hard to put on and take off of your dog. If you have a hard time with this, or you'd just like it to be quicker, putting a Katie's Buckle on your dog's prong collar would be a great option. There are sizes for the 2.25mm and 3.0 mm and several colors.
Dominant dog collars work like the slip lead but you can attach a more comfortable leash to it like a leather leash and they tend to be more effective. Make sure you measure your dog and get the right size. It should fit snugly, but not tight high up on your dog's neck just behind their ears.
Martingale collars tighten when they are pulled on, but don't choke. They are good for puppies and dogs that can easily slip out of their collar like greyhounds and dobermans or escape artists. :)
The chain collar (aka choke chain) works the same as a slip lead but sometimes works better for dogs with longer or fluffy fur. You can also attach a leather leash to it so that it's more comfortable to hold than a nylon slip lead. Make sure you get the correct size for your dog. This one with the toggle makes it super easy to put on.
This helps your dog to eat slower which is better for his/her health and state of mind. But make sure it stays clean and scratch free since it isn't stainless steel.
Small size dog food puzzle bowl. Good quality, but plastic so keep very clean.
A Tire Inflator works just the same as Pet Convincer (or possibly a bit better) and is cheaper. This one is the cheapest I have found and it works great!
Pet Convincer is condensed air that shoots out quickly and makes a tsst noise. It does not hurt your dog at all, it just startles them and can quickly stop unwanted behavior. Make sure not to aim it anywhere near their face.
This E-Collar is really nice and easy to use. It has 1-100 levels and a vibration mode too. It is completely waterproof and works up to 1/2 mile.
This is a really great bell to teach your dog to ring when they want to go outside. It has a very pleasant sound and since it is mounted on the wall it helps keep dogs from pulling on it or playing with it too much, unlike the ones that hang from the doorknob.
We all need to pick up after our dog to be responsible pet owners, why not help the earth with biodegradable dog poop bags while you do it? And it comes with a dispenser you can attach to a leash or collar.
Pop up kennels are very handy to have for many situations, like traveling, camping, and even putting the the back of your car for dogs that are rowdy or have anxiety and then the kennel is super easy to collapse.
The Transitional Leash is a very nice option to use as a slip lead or a head halter leash. I really like this brand because it has an attachment to hook to the dog's flat collar to protect them from getting loose.
I like this scooper because it is pretty tough and durable for an inexpensive scooper and makes it easy to clean up the poop in your yard.
These are great quality nail clippers. It is very important to keep your dog's nails trimmed and healthy. I would recommend these for small dogs. For medium-large dogs I'd suggest using a Dremel tool.
